Hi Richard Yes I agree another jacket that toooooo short. Sadly it is so normal these days that i don't bother to mention it! However I've just found a couple of jackets that are surprisingly long. A Lowe Alpine Arete and of course the Paramo Alta original version is great and both these jackets are long enough to get your hands in your pockets while wearing a rucksack and both mean you can get by without overtrousers for a little longer ... although like you I'd like to see a lot more longer jackets... sadly most people want short jackets. Another short jacket that keeps your top dry and lets all the rain drain onto your bottom. Maybe Ok if you are using waterproof trousers but...
